Rascal Remedies essential oils are produced through finely-developed and plant-specific extraction methods.
They vary from plant to plant, but the most common extraction method is steam distillation. Compared to other methods, this process draws out essential oils at slightly higher temperatures and pressures, persevering as much of the plant integrity as possible.

Every essential oil is made up of over 100+ naturally-occurring, chemical compounds. Depending on its specific composition, each EO has a different concentration that is considered safe for children.
That’s why the recommended ingredient percentage in a formula varies. For example, one oil is considered safe, even when used in a 100% concentration. Another oil may need to be diluted down to 0.5% of a Rascal Remedies blend, for the safety of a 3-6 year old child.
